Default M.basjoo/M.sikkimensis in tropical climates

Does anybody know how Musa Basjoo, and or Musa sikkimensis does in tropical climates? Do they die back in the heat of summer, and not stand the year round hot climate? How about in South Florida, or abroad in Brazil, ect?

Thanks
