Default Re: Siam Ruby Help Please

My SR was in a pot all last year and grew pretty steadily. This year, however, I put it in the ground and, as I've said before, it's been a dry year. I have been keeping it watered and we've been getting a little more rain lately. I've noticed though that the leaves are looking more brownish instead of the nice burgundy color they had last year. Also, one of the leaves didn't emerge properly recently so I cut it off and it was all dark in the middle. I made another cut about 3" down on the pstem and it was dark in the middle. I finally cut it to about 2" above the ground, same thing-black all in the middle. So I have some rot going on for some reason. I still have one good pstem and two or three pups so hopefully those will pull through.
