What I found interesting is that while he has made a decision to stay inbusiness based on business decisions, commentary on what he did was political and 'environmental'.

I doubt that anyone who made commentary to 'improve' has ever grown a banana, cut them off the stalk, or done anything that adds to the bottom line.

Fair trade is a joke that raises prices inordinately based on social engineering, green certification does not add one penny to the coffers (but does cost a ton of money to get the certification).

This gentleman is a success on his own, he needs no advice from people who do not work the fields. His workers seemed sharp enough to keep the business profitable.
