Deerabbit

I have no clue about bananas - I got this little plant a year ago, and man did it grow. Jack and the beanstalk has a contender here in Malta!!!

Anyways, I now have one big bunch of green bananas that are so heavy that the stalk is nearly touching the ground. Someone told me that they won't be sweet, yet someone else mentioned that I have to somehow place sugar in some sort of sack and it will sweetn the fruit....duuuh!!! I still can't figure this out.

Can someone help me please??
