Are you refering to the regular sikkimensis, or the darjeeling hybrid?

I don't have an anwser to the original question, but being as it is most likely a hybrid, it probably took some of the other parents genes and is a bit less hardy than zone 6(although you never know). Just for experiments sake I hope you test your largest, and hold off on the smaller ones. Both types definatly have some fast regrow potential if they do grow back from the corm though. Good luck!
