In my experience, early yellowing is a water issue - too little; or too much, causing root rot, which has the same effect as too little water. Too few roots means less water uptake. If new growth is healthy, I wouldn't be to concerned. Banana leaves show stress, but generally the stress you see is from something that occurred a week or two ago, not yesterday.
