Default Curious (yet amazing) oddity

so its about 4AM right now, and i just went outside to check my 2 basjoos and the Musella, i did this because i knew it was going to be a cold night, and it is, its 21°F/-6°C out right now (but thats normal, not the amazing part), whats amazing is that the bananas are perfectly fine. no cold damage at all, there is even frost on the windshields but the plants are completely fine! Mine seem to do this for some reason, I cant imagine a microclimate in a 4x8ft space that is 11°F warmer than the surrounding area, but hey, im not complaining!
