Now the fruits are very full and changing colour to the sunset colours of ripe fruit - but the first flowers appeared on the 13th August which makes it only 11 weeks or just under 3 months to ripen. Is this possible? Most of my others take at least 3.5 to 4 months to ripen on the plant, and I don't want to cut them down prematurely, but I don't want them to split either! Photos tomorrow! I have a big bunch of premature dc's just ripening in the garage that a windstorm blew over, and the pstem was too mashed to be able to prop up.
