Default Re: My Poor Praying Hands

If your neighbor was any sort of good guy he'd be willing to compensate you for the damage. The fact that he has put a stop-payment on the check says all that needs to be said I guess. He obviously doesn't value your property. Makes you wonder what he'd do if somehow something like your vehicle or home had been damaged when he had his repairs done.

The guys who redid my roof a couple of weeks back did a good job all-in-all but I still had a little plant damage. Most noteable was the fact that they broke off about a 2' arm on one of my Plumerias and then got rid of it when they cleaned up all the debris...as if I wouldn't notice! I made them take off $55 for the damage. The crazy thing is, they did a good job of protecting my plants when they did the initial tear off of the shingles, then while they were redoing the felt paper and putting shingles back on, the didn't cover anything and continued to drop stuff off the roof, which is when the damage occured. Why wouldn't they protect the plants the entire time? Makes no sense to me. Now I have to see how much damage I get when the fence contractors show up.
