I bought one late this past summer from forum member varig8 (something like that). He has photos of lots of variegated bananas in his gallery but isn't active here. My top died back but is now growing fine in my greenhouse. The leaves are solid green for now but he told me that they developed the variegation later on (he almost threw away his mother plant). Someone else in the forum sent me a PM reporting of problems getting a replacement plant, but mine seems okay thus far. I don't anticipate having any extra pups for a few years, if ever. You might try contact him, though. It was not cheap, but I was in a spending mood trying to stimulate the economy!
