Default taking notes of False Banana

Happy Holidays everyone!

I've started writing down some notes for this coming spring. I need your help and it's regarding my false banana(ensete maurelii). I'm in zone 5a. I would like to know when I can plant it out. Is it ok to directly plant it at the backyard in full sun? Is it ok to plant it directly in the dirt? Also, the area is very open. Is it ok that it will receive a lot of strong winds when there is a storm?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Neil
