Geesh....Don't even consider covering your Xmas lights with a sheet. As already said, make a wire/or bamboo cage,....then.... cover the framework with a Frost Blanket, It helps if the frost blanket material is not actually touching the plant....but a triple layer should give you a LOT of protection, without "poaching" your Nanner. If you live in a non-arctic clime, and the plants are not huge,...cover it with some of this "spun stuff". Remember...cold "comes from above". Protect the tips. Territorial Seeds, in OR, is where I have always bought mine, but there many suppliers. Dat said,...I don't use the stuff on Nanners...just non-hardy Cacti & succulents.
