Default ? about ripening color

So I had one ripe banana on a bunch (I'm sure everyone remembers ha ha) and we ate it and now the rest of that hand is turning the DARKEST green color. The rest are still on the plant cuz I only cut that one hand off. Is this normal? They were light green when cut and now they are the darkest green I have ever seen. Normal? How long does it take to turn yellow once cut? I guess different varieties are different. This is a Mysore. Anyway, my husband even noticed them tonight when he got home and how dark green they were. They are reverse ripening.
