Default Re: Musa thompsonii is M.flaviflora?

Well, I ordered Musa NagensiumX from Trebrown. They were very worty in texture, and a little bigger than sikkimensis seeds. These are powerful seeds, as the first have sprouted after only 2 weeks!! I am guessing there is a fair deal of cheesmani blood in this one.

I ordered some Musa Nagensium from Seedman, and these were totally smooth and light brown in colour. And they were almost the size of ensete seeds, a little smaller. (Not white....) I have no idea what this really is...

Gabe, do you know of any other good seed sources?

I am still waiting for the flaviflora to appear, but I ordered only a few days ago so it will take a while longer.

So this winter I will be stuck with ALOT of seedlings for next season. I am hoping my new high power natrium bulbs will do the job...
