I'm not really sure how Kandarian will do but it is one which ripens quicker than most so I'd like to try it again. I killed one indoors in a pot (I think it became root bound and dried out while I went on vacation). I'd like to grow some of these types (Viente Cohol included) as an annual, starting pups in the greenhouse in the winter and setting them out in the spring in hopes of fruit maturing by fall. We just need something that has a wider window than something that takes 5-6 months to mature.
You wrote earlier that the risk of frost has passed. Don't be fooled by this mild weather. We had frost in late March last year. Our official normal last frost date is something like 3/20 but last year we had frost after that. If you lose any plants due to frost in March or later I suggest you ask Gore for a refund.
