If it is 'kicking out leaves', it is not 'hybernating'. My potted nanas are growing slowly & the pups are just now starting to grow after not doing anything since Oct. If you can get it away from the heat vent, that would help.
The pot size is good. I don't think you'll get nanas this year, esp w/ slower growing in winter.
