Well I am glad you got them from Joe. He's a really nice guy and I got my thomsonii seeds from him back in March of 2005 when he drove down to get a load of Palms from Gary's Nursery in New Bern, NC. I gave him the tour of Raleigh while he was there and we did some swapping of plants. It was good to meet another plant person from online. I am not surprised the weaker one came from Monrovia. I know they are selling some for outrageous prices( about 80 bucks for a 3 gallon plant!?!!?!?!)
