				 Kinda bummed...
 Hey all,
I know banana season is ending for us in Zone 8b and man it's my fault because I didn't even get into them until the first week of August. Now it's the last week of September and I haven't anything to report that good.
My orinoco in a pot put out a whole new leaf over this time. The basjoo in the pot did ABSOLUTELY nothing except get some black spots. The orinico in the ground put out a new leaf but has been stuck there (the wide part of the leaf right up to the PS and leaf sticks up) for several weeks. Plus, I think I didn't water enough last week (it was supposed to be fall) and the whole thing turned a tiny bit yellow. The basjoo in the ground has all but lost one sad leaf, although it did come forth with a small leaf about 4" long. BTW, these plants are relatively small (11" and 4" PS)
As soon as I get the GH house set up, they'll go in there but does anyone have any words of encouragements or growth tips, maybe to kick off next season?
