I obtained the lotus last summer and, while it gave leaf growth prodigiously, no blooms yet. I still haven't pulled it up from the bottom. I hope it blooms away this season. Sorry about your back problems; after 20 years I finally gave in to surgery. It does tend to put some limits on our activities. With that many lilies, you must have some pond, or a multitude of barrels!
