My Ice cream when they were young showed some splotches while the Basjoo don't have them. Perhaps, the ice cream seller may have mislabeled mine?

I thinkI have a picture of my ice cream in my gallery(?), might this be a basjoo. It is growing quite fast this year and I was very pleased with it. Whitish pseudostem, no red.
