How the weather right now, Erlend? If above freezing for a day or two, and dry, maybe just let the area dry out some and cover again. I'm pretty sure the frost wouldn't even penetrate to ground level, with all the hay you have for protection. Don't sweat it though, man. I'm going to bet that your plants will make it through just fine!
