Wow- that is a very interesting techinque. That would be the best way to purge a garden but a lawn would be tough. I have almost 3k feet of lawn and that's a lot of tarps. The city will issue citations for a boat behind a fence or trash cans on the street a day early/ late. I could never get away with the lawn covered in tarps for 6 weeks.
It's still repairable at this point. I have been told by several people to use the Bayer Insect for grubs...............
