Default Re: How do I prepare my Musa acumiata planted in pots for the winter?

Welcome aboard, Marcus ! I think you'll find this a very friendly & info-packed site, I sure did! If ya have any questions about using the forum, just ask.
As for over-wintering, I have over-wintered (with fabulous success) 4 Blue Java bananas for 3 years now. If ya cut off the pups, be sure to give them a little of the corm and roots. I put mine in pots that are just barely big enough, rarely give them much food, and Never water them at all, in the winter. I keep them in a cool (under 20 c) room near a sunny SW window.
BTW, you'll find even more, & more detailed, info on that in the threads . Enjoy!

For Musa Ae Ae for sale, check the Ads at the bottom of the 1st page of this forum. I've seen lots of beautiful Ae Ae's in the threads & galleries. There's very likely someone with one for sale.
