I would try some of the dwarf species...they're great for containers: dwarf cavendish, dwarf orinoco, super dwarf cavendish, dwarf nam wah, Siam Ruby stay fairly small for ornamentals, maybe try musella lasiocarpa, musa velutina, etc. Hope that helps!
