![]() Hey, folks,
When my son was about eight, we went to a local garden store and bought an unlabeled banana. Now he's in medical school, and that banana has survived heat, drought, three feet of snow and five degree cold snaps. And I still don't know what it is! Here's a pic from today: . . Those are pups from this one - taken last September: . . Another view: . . For the curious, that's not a young woman, but a scare-crow, or rather, a scare-heron. We live next to the Anacostia River, and I really don't want the Great Blue Herons to turn my koi into sushi! . . Not sure there's much to go on, as far as identity goes, but thanks for looking!
