Default Need nana id.

I post a thread in Health and Maint 2 years ago: Young bananas plant with black bugs.
They all matured now and some of them are fruiting, can you folks help me with a variety name, here are some pics I upload. I'm sure they're not Ice Cream since we have IC growing 10 yards away, and they twice as tall.
Thanks.
Henry in Santa Ana.

I'm far from being an expert, but those strongly resemble my Rajapuri banana (especially with the leaf width I'm seeing in your photos).

A few more details: The wall in the background is about 7' tall, and the nana plants stay green as in the pics all winter long, so they are very hardy comparing to IC. Can't wait to taste the fruit and compare them with IC.
Thanks.

There's not enough detail of the critical parts (flower, petiole, etc.) to say for sure, but given the following bits of evidence, I'd guess dwarf Namwah.

1. They are from Thailand (based on your old post), where Namwah is the most popular variety.
2. The height is about right.
3. They are cold hardy.
4. Old photos show they have closed petioles.

That said, the bunch of bananas in the background looks a little different from the bunch in the foreground.

PS -- The photo of your IC's makes me think you have what most people in So Cal have as IC, which is really another Namwah type, not the true Blue Java / Ice Cream. Looks like they are doing great for you with all the bunches hanging! Let us know if the two taste about the same.

Thanks everybody for your help. Ventura, I always thought we have the famous IC/Blue Java Our IC actually turn kind of bluish/dark green when the fruit mature (before they ripe). Next time the "dwarf" bloom again, I will make sure to take pics .
