Thin pseudostem Dwarf Cavendish
I have an unidentified Dwarf Cavendish (according to label) that doesn't look like my other DCs. The tag is from Van Bloem Gardens...Musa Dwarf Cavendish. Leaves are green on underside, midrib is green top and bottom. Leaf dorsum is green with maroon splotching that has not dissappeared as plant got older. Also, the pseudostem is very thin with long thin petioles. There is not a trace of red or maroon on the pseudostem. One more thing to add. New leaves are a nice yellow-green with red splotching, underside is green NOT red as in M. zebrina.
What might a have here. Thanks, Craig |
