 This is one cold hardy Musa. The petiole is strongly winged, and this plant took many hours of below freezing temperatues this winter, down to 29F (approx -2C) with no damage. Most of the other cultivars on the site had extensive damage.This is a wild species Musa that is worth growing!!  Last edited by Caloosamusa : 04-12-2010 at 05:47 AM. Reason: add |
