when to uncover for spring?

I'm in southern ohio (zone 6). I have many stands of bajsoos in the ground surrounded with bags of leaves. It appears that most of the psuedostems have made it. When should I remove all the winter protection?

if the temperature won't fall lower than -2 C, I think 29 Fahrenheit you can uncover them.
thats how we do it in Holland ;)

Here in NYC the weather has been holding steady above freezing for the past two weeks so I uncovered my basjoo and I'm glad I did because the daylilies in the same area were being squashed. There is already growth showing at the tips.Your zone is about the same as ours. :nanadrink:

check your 10 day forcast, If no hard freeze is expected, uncover them, it will be almost the middle of April by then. I will have to wait until May this year it just keeps snowing. Mike
