Default Ensete glaucum (snow)

I've got two snow banana seedlings, now about six months grown and finally outdoors with the others. They seem slow growing and a bit weak compared to my others (Himalayan, Abyssinian) - is there anything I could do to perk them up, or are they just naturally slow growing? Do they like less/more water than others?

These are all in pots by the way, and in SW England.

Have you fertilized? If the weather is warm and good for growing I would give them some Miracle Grow and see if they don't perk up. I had one last year that got to 15 ft. tall and I fertilized it all the time. I live in zone 5a and bring them in for the winter. It was about 8 years old.

I got the seeds from a jungle in northern Thailand. This grows wild there.
Once it makes bananas I will have plenty of seeds to share.
And maybe because this banana has endured cold weather here it adapts to more harsh conditions, usually plants pass their changed DNA adapted to local growing conditions. This banana grew under -3C to +5C for 3 months a year during the winters for 4 years.
