Banana with 4 locules/segments
As in the title: is this common?
I was eating a banana earlier and realised that it had 4 segments rather than the usual 3. Each segment appears to be fully formed with a "vein" running down the the middle when viewed from the side. Can't seem to find much about the number of segments online other than one should expect to find only 3. Thanks |
