![]() Resprouting from the middle. Again, thanks for helping me get this thing going!
Now I'm starting to wonder about some purple sugarcane I've got going. I presprouted it in damp paper, but when I put it in soil/bark, it has not pushed thru, and it's been a month. Time to break out the sand again? |

![]() Sugarcane can take a very long time to sprout. They grow a lot of roots first. I would give it more time. You can dig down and check roots. If it has lots of roots cover it back and wait some more. I find if I root sugarcane in water first it shoots up sprouts way faster! So if no roots I would submerge in a bucket of water before sand.
