Default dwarf cavendish blooming

First banana bloom. I haven't been outside much the last week but noticed this when i was outside yesterday.

I made the mistake of letting a sucker grow out next to it which is actually larger than this banana already. I'm guessing this contributed to the small size of the bunch.

Is your DC potted? How old is it? Would you happen to have a full-length picture of your nanner? I'm hoping for my DC to bloom one day. I am just trying to find out what to look for.
