![]() Keeping the temperature around 80ish and humidity at 50-60% will allow the plant's to grow and increase your chances of success. I am not an expert and would recommend taking the time to research/Google the subject. Maybe there are other members that would like to share their experience.

![]() The humidity always seems to get higher at night, but yeah no more than 80 Fahrenheit? Maybe even a big plastic bag propped over the top of the lights to trap %&temp?

![]() I picked up a couple digital thermometers w/ the outside sensor and found out they pick up on the closest sensor.. The one for my babies in the garage was picking up my outside sensor.. I was freaking when it got down to 43F and went out there and it was like a sauna.. Then I was like here's your sign.. to myself.. :^)

![]() ![]() This morning 11/13 frost/ice on the ground! It won't stay this cold for too long. Snow did Not stick. I hope once I have establish mats next year to bring at least 2 pups of each in my GH. And leave some corms in the ground to compare their hardiness and see which, out of all these, comes back to life first. I always have a plan... not all good but yea I got those LEDs in the pond OFF EBAY from Hong Kong $7. Hmmmmm ferns, that's new to me I'll think about it today. |

![]() Nah the CFL and smd lights don't give off more than 95°( I can hold the bulbs in my hand/no burn). I actually moved the lights closer.... about 4" away now. The humidity goes up high at night!!!... Even though I never water them at night, only mornings (haven't watered in over a week, it's cold), and the pond's air-stone bubblers are turned off at night too. Humidity is usually around 80-99% at night for some reason I have not understood yet.

![]() Ashamed to post bad news, I suppose I will post this for my future reference and your curiosity. Got down abnormally low to 24° last night. (recorded at my house)
Snow didn't stick. Greenhouse recorded 38° LOST LEAVES= turned soft and draping/drooping over Dwarf Red 1 upper next new leaf fine Gold finger 1 lower Raja Puri 3 middle Williams 4 upper ALL others fine Basjoo wasn't on heat mat= ^%$&(*^ Haha you wanna see a picture!? Manzano not looking good= staying in center of heat mat; will loose all leaves/probably and start over. Elephant Ears kinda messed up too Heat mat timer had an extra couple hours (on 6pm off 10am) now 5pm-11am 11-13 Added a damn 1500w heater on a separate timer. I have never given up ![]() ![]() |
