Here are some Pics of my new Java Blue/ Ice Cream Nana plant. Purchased from Laverne Nursery in So Cal yesterday. Will go in the ground this weekend to join its new Banana Family members.

Very nice!! I saw the banana prices in So Cal nursuries and I was really excited to see how cheap they were! Bananas that would go for 200 dollars here were 30 in So Cal, plus I saw some bananas that were 10 feet tall for 100 dollars! Very affordable!

I agree there are some great buys in So Cal, but not always reputable in regards to Banana ID. I have read some bad ones on the board.

I am glad there are great knowledgeable people on this board willing to help such as; momoese, sunfish, venturabananas, and pitangadiego to name a few. I am sure I will meet more of the banana family members here.
