Are These Baby Bananas???

My first banana, a DC, is fruiting. It has choke, but there's a nice bunch of bananas forming at what would be the "top" of the bunch:

But, towards the bottom of the bunch, there are tons of what appear to be small bananas, but they're only about an inch or so long, and I just can't imagine these will grow into actual bananas:

Will these actually develop into bananas?

Also, one of the reasons I'm asking is that I saw a video where the grower clipped the flower after it stopped forming bananas, so the plant would focus it's energy on ripening the fruit.

Should I clip the flower, and if so, should I leave these "baby' fruits at the bottom of the bunch?

Thanks for the help!

I don't think the "baby" fruits will develop and mature into fruit.

Definitely they will NOT develop into usable fruits.

Thanks guys...I didn't think they would. What about trimming the bud? Should I do it, and if so, should I leave the "babies" or trim them with the flower?

Seems no one ever responded to this so I'll put in my 02.

It doesn't make a molehill of difference usually if you cut it or leave it on, so I'd say just do whichever one suits your fancy. Some people cut it because they think it looks neater, some leave it on because they like the little flowers and the nectar attracts pollinating insects.

Completely up to you; congrats on just getting it to flower :woohoonaner:

P.S. How long did it take, and what growing conditions did you use? :D
