![]() So I have a Truly Tiny on the way that I couldn’t pass up for $8
![]() I plan on growing it on a pot... and I would like to grow it indoors. Now here’s where my questions come in I have ceramic tint on all of my windows which block 99% UV and heat (good for Texas heat) and I don’t have any south facing windows in my living area so there’s no direct sunlight coming into the house besides the early AM hours. Would a LED grow light be sufficient for a Banana Plant? Also, how big exactly do these get? I’ve been seeing pictures online of some that get nearly 7ft high They claim those are truly tiny but who knows

![]() I am still pretty green, or would it be brown? Lol. But I know that truly tiny only get 2 or 3 feet at the crown. Plus leaves, Probably 4 feet.

![]() Bought a "dwarf" something from wal mart - huge thick trunk (2.5 inches, 10" high, with leaves 24, 5 months later has grown about 5 inches. Leaves are like one of top of the other, no spacing betwewen them.
WHAT IS IT?? how tall will it get? Fruit? Has three 2" pups (started with one). Looks happy even with the occasional spider mite infestation which gets washed off every 3 or 4 weeks (hosed off I should say :-) |

That’s interesting though, I read on another thread on this forum that Truly Tiny is a mutation from Brazilian Apple, not Cavendish.

![]() I have got a banana that I received as truly tiny, but it does not look like SDC to me.
It is more slender with pink edges along the petiols. Any ideas what it could be? It is 2,5' tall and came from a reliable tropical garden house, a tourist spot close to where I live. [IMG] [IMG]

![]() I know it has flared pettiols. Looking out my window it looks red. Not 100% sure it is dwarf cavendish though. Haven't been in the org. In awhile! Welcome back!

This plant looks like neither of mine. Both are very short with a lot of leaves on top of each other. My SDC has a short fat stem
