Patty congrats!! (again) how tall is your p-stem? I have several that are at towering heights (well above 10') but no sign of any flowers!!

Hi Enigma, my IC Pstem is 6' 4" which is short for IC. But, that's because its been in a pot - I think. I was told to count the leaves that grew out. when it grows over 30 leaves, then expect a flower soon. Both of those 2 IC grew over 30 leaves so I think it's true rather than the height. Anything grown in a pot will be smaller than grown inground...I'm sure my nanas will be smaller than normal too. Mine (the 'twins') were 4 yrs old before they flowered...including the time I forced dormancy for a winter & the other winters they were semi dormant. In the tropics, they flower in 12 - 18 months.
