Default Manzano Banana

I wanted to find a Manzano banana to grow. This ornamental banana produces small, red bananas with a unique flavor, so I was interested. However, it is quite difficult to grow. I don't know if it is because the variety I bought is not up to standard or because of my growing techniques. I tried twice and both were unsuccessful.

Default Re: Manzano Banana

Hey Dimitri, I think you might have the bananas mistaken. Manzano are the smaller pale yellow bananas without seeds, in my experience, best a little under ripe and taste sort of like kiwi. But are often called "Apple Bananas" not due to the color, but because of the tart taste.
