Thanks, I just did that

It grows like a weed down south. This year I would really like to detract the butterflies from laying eggs on my edible passion fruit vines and decimating them. So I was hoping to plant some of this Biflora and MAYBE get some fruit if I offer them an alternative or sacrificial plant as it may be.

If there are mockingbirds and/or other insect eating birds in the region, you could try putting out suet to see if they'll start coming to your yard on a regular basis.

The neighbors dogs chase off the birds right there on the fence line, one of the reasons I put this giant leafed edible there, hoping for a visual block...8 beagles are a pain in the raw hide with all that barking day and night.
Great thought though, thanks for the addition to the thread!
It just might help someone else in my position
