Default This just sounds too good to be true... Anyone heard of this?

Destroys nematodes, fusarium wilt and much more, and non toxic... can be used up to date of harvest...
Anyone here heard of this / tried this?

It would be worth any price if it does what it says...

Varieties I supposedly bought: Manzano, Cavendish, Blue Java, Sweetheart, and Gros Michel.
What it seems I actually have: Brazilian, Cavendish, Namwah, Dwarf Red, Gros Michel, Pisang Ceylon, Veinte Cohol and SH 3640, and American Goldfinger. FHIA 1, Paggi and FHIA 17... Always room for one more.

Search Ebay for the name of the fungal parasite that destroys it... Apparently it's only sold to large farming operations in the USA...

I ordered a packet and will test it. I got nothing to lose, my bananas are slowly dying from the nematodes anyway.

I did not read the link you are considering, but for nematodes somewhere I heard that diatomaceous (sp?) earth is the ticket, and that the cheapest version is used for swimming pool filters, so that is what I use. As to whether it works or not I am like the guy snapping his fingers to keep the elephants away (old joke from 1960's). I mix in a little anytime I add dirt or fert to the bananas and they do reasonably well.

(Edit 2-27-18 I just got 2 bags of the "Dicalite" swimming pool stuff, and, uh, just now looked it up to see if it should work against nematodes. "No" is what people say, like here: http://biconet.com/crawlers/infoshee...thPestCtrl.pdf The key search word is "calcined". Sorry. Ray)
