Fertilizing shipped Dwarf Orinoco?

I recently received 2 dwarf orinoco plants in the mail which of course were root washed and had basically no leaves. One has a water sucker with 3 fairly substantial leaves. It didn't look like any roots were cut in the cleaning process. I potted them up in a well draining mix which does have some composted chicken manure in it, along with a fair amount of aged bark and perlite, with some commercial seeding mix. I have recently started noticing some growth from both of them and I am just wondering when I should consider fertilizing them and if I should use a slow-release product or something else. I have been foliar spraying them about twice a week with a dilute balanced soluble.

We are still getting warm days and likely will through September but the nights are getting a little cool. When its clear we have already been down to 48 degrees overnight, although that will likely be variable for the next few weeks (last night 58 degrees). Our first frost date can be between end of September to early November. I do move them next to the house under the fairly substantial eves in the evening.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you

You don't need to add any fertilize until next spring.

Great post ...Your idea sounds great...goodluck.

For indoor plants it is hit or miss....I have some failures from time to time.
Youtube offers some(a lot) great videos on the subject.
