Hiya Musa Velutina seeds

I have about 50 Velutina seeds. Would like to exchange them for some other rare fruit or palm seeds.

Default Re: Musa Velutina seeds

dwarf papaya (bears normal fruit but lower down than standard); Ziziphus jujube? The seeds are fresh, BUT our germination has been spotty - though only planted 4 weeks ago, so there is still some time to go. These will produce good fruit probably, but probably not as good as some of the hybrids - we like them for rootstock as they are very vigorous. We MAY have Ensete ventricosum (green). Having 4 in flower with one huge flower, we expect some good seeds, especially from the very large flowered one (which is 8.5 months from seed 5' to top of pseudostem, 8' to leaf top). The plant is edible (see Ethiopia recipes :-), but we use the leaves for spectacular flower arrangements and our men use them for wrapping food. PJKFarm@gmail.com
