My eucalyptus gunni turned yellow and dry in mid-winter when daytime highs did not exceed 32 F degrees. So might be from the cold weather.

I heard Eucalyptus gunni wasn't hardy for Upstate NY, but new growth is coming up near the base! Same way my fig trees grow back when not protected.

When daytime highs in the middle of winter rarely climbed beyond 32 degrees Fahrenheit, my eucalyptus gunni withered and turned dry. It could be the chilly climate, then.

New shoots are appearing at the trunk of this Eucalyptus gunni, which I had read was not hardy in Upstate New York. The fig trees in my yard do the same thing when I stop protecting them.
