Default How Long...

does anyone know who long it takes white bird of paradise to germinate? i scarified the seeds before i planted them its been 2 weeks. i know be patient, however they didnt say on the instructions how long it could take.. so if any of yall know, would you be so kind to lmk? i havent been able to find much on the germ. of these plants, except," i could take a while". lol thanks in advance.

I have a bop that is a couple of years old and it hasn't

thank you. it took me half the day but i actually learned something today. it could take up to 8 weeks.thats not too bad...it can take my tacca up to a year to germinate. so i dont think that 8 weeks will be to long. i just spend hours looking into pots with dirt in them and i see no changes....not that i do that every day (well maybe not EVERY DAY) ha ha ha. i just got my pineapples started yesterday..changed the water today and was looking for roots( yes alread looking for roots). i have 4 jacaranda babies. three new today,1 is 4-5 days old. WOOSAAA. thank you for the info

If white bird of paradise is Strelitzia nicolai, I've germinated them a couple of times. It can take anywhere from six weeks to a year or more.

yes thats them. they have only been in the dirt for 2 wks. i just want to see growth. i know be patient.
