Yup I always count pets, as my very best friend that I had since 3rd grade lived in Lancaster with her husband and they may not have had human children but they were very much the parents of their dogs!

Thanks so much to you all. My son called and we had a great 60 minute conversation; very rare these days. Looks like he won't be able to come down from NY this summer as he's still working 60+ hour weeks at Pricewaterhouse and studying for his CPA exams. Only in NYC, but boy do I miss him!
