Chilly nights bring some chill things to look at.
A lot happening from an easy to see comet to the nightly aurora . If you get a chance watch a SpaceX launch ...you can see them hundreds of miles away and you'll be amazed how awesome technology is. |

The last supermoon of the 2024 year will happen soon and in about 40 days winter will start.

The cold moon is sometimes called the Longest Night Moon because it is near the winter solstice date.

Amazing shot.
Our area gets to see those occasionally when the conditions are right. The last ones were on cloudy nights or I was too far south to see . This year I saw only one from my location on the 39th parallel. |
