My first attempt at TC. 16 from 1 in 3 months.

Poster: Frankco (see this users gallery) 16 explants from one Musa Basjoo in 3 months. I expect now that they have made themselves comfortable in the media that the multiplication rate will go up. I'm hoping that they will produce 16 more from each in 2 months. That's a total 256 explants in 5 months. From there....well, that's going to be a lot of banana plants, 4096 in 7 months. Let's see how they do.

Hi Java16, just a simple glove box to cut up the explant, some agar and BAP. Although the videos are not about bananas "yet", I put a few up on YouTube that shows how I got started TC'ing. http://www.youtube.com/user/fbt2007
