my advice to anyone with a late bloom is to wait until the day before the first frost and cut your bunch. look at this little banana that managed to ripen.. i was also brave enough to try it and it was sweet. i think this is the smallest ripe banana Ive ever seen. Note: bluggoe types are known to turn yellow soon after being removed.. Cali gold, Dwarf o,orinoco, etc so try your luck with these.
