Ensete maruellii poorly grown in the front garden!

Poster: Basjoofriend (see this users gallery) This was a place not very suitable for Ensete maurellii, the soil is sandy and dry. I have now transplanted it to the pondside where the ground-water level is high and there the other bananas are growing much better. I hope that the plant will recover at the new place at the pondside.
